The short version
We collect the information you give us through the consultation form (name, business, phone, email, state, city, the bundle you may have selected, and what you want from a website), plus a small amount of automatically collected technical data (IP address, user-agent, referring URL, basic page analytics). We use it to reply to your inquiry, to run the site, and to know which pages convert. We do not sell your data, ever. We do not share it with anyone who is not directly helping us run the business.
Who we are
RevampedWeb is a US-based web design and local SEO practice that builds lead-generation websites for small service businesses. The data controller for the purposes of this policy is RevampedWeb, reachable at revampedweb@gmail.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the consultation form, we receive: business URL (optional), business name, your full name, phone number, email address, US state, city, the website bundle you may have selected, the monthly plan you may have selected, whether you opted into the Care Plan, and a free-text description of what you want from a website. When you email us directly, we receive whatever you put in the email.
Information collected automatically. Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, request path, response code, timestamp) and basic analytics (page views, referrer, country-level location, time on page). Automated logs do not include any of the form fields above unless you have submitted the form.
Cookies and similar storage. The site itself does not set any cookies. Google Analytics, when loaded (see below), sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site trackers.
When analytics actually loads
We defer Google Analytics until you interact with the page (scroll, click, key press, touch). If you land on a page, read the headline, and bounce within a few seconds without touching anything, we do not load analytics at all and we record nothing. The 5-second idle fallback that loads analytics for headless or accessibility tooling does not transmit personally identifying information.
How we use it
- To respond to your consultation request by phone or email within 24 hours.
- To send the lead-confirmation email after you submit the form.
- To send transactional follow-up about the conversation we agreed to have.
- To improve the website (which pages get visited, which forms convert, where the friction is).
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of the form.
- To comply with applicable law if required.
We do not use your information for marketing automation, list rentals, or third-party advertising. We do not run a generic newsletter and we do not add you to any list when you submit the form — only the specific reply about the conversation you requested.
Who we share it with
We share the data only with the third-party sub-processors we use to actually run the site:
- Vercel — site hosting and request logs (US data centers). Vercel Privacy Policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (consultation request notifications and the receipt we send back to you). Resend Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics — usage analytics with IP anonymization in effect. Google Privacy Policy.
Each sub-processor has its own privacy policy that governs what they do with the data we send them. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
- Consultation form submissions. Retained in our email inbox for as long as the lead relationship is active, plus a reasonable follow-up window (typically 24 months from the last contact). Email it to revampedweb@gmail.com if you want yours deleted sooner.
- Server logs. Retained per Vercel's default policy (typically 30 days for runtime logs).
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 retains event-level data for 14 months by default.
Where the data is stored
All processing occurs in the United States. If you are submitting the form from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and stored on US-based servers. By submitting the form, you consent to that transfer.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information (we will, unless we are legally required to keep it).
- Stop processing your information for marketing purposes.
- Send you a copy of your data in a portable format.
If you live in California (CCPA / CPRA), you also have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, the categories of sources, the business purpose, and the categories of third parties we share it with — all of which are listed above. You have the right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information; we do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of.
If you live in the EU, UK, or EEA (GDPR / UK GDPR), the legal basis for processing the form fields is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) and our legitimate interest in responding to a sales inquiry you initiated (Article 6(1)(f)). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; doing so will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

How to opt out of analytics
You can prevent Google Analytics from running on this site by enabling Do Not Track in your browser, installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, or simply not interacting with the page (we do not load analytics until you do). Any standard ad-blocker also blocks our analytics tag.
Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS with HSTS preloading. The consultation API enforces rate limits, body-size caps, per-field length caps, and a honeypot to deter automated abuse. We do not accept payments on the site itself, so no card data ever touches our servers.
Children
The site is not directed at people under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
